Attention, all residents of Louisville! Is your home or business filled with unwanted clutter? Do you want to clean house, without cleaning out your bank account?
Good news! On July 26th, the area will be providing FREE disposal of bulk waste and junk. Visitors are advised to separate any metal from their items to be disposed. The facility will recycle any metal, thereby saving crucial space at the landfill.
However, please avoid bringing the following items:

- Yard waste
- Hazardous materials, including paint and tires
In addition, residents are able to drop off bulk waste year-round, at NO CHARGE. If interested, please bring no more than three (3) items to: the Waste Reduction Center at 636 Meriwether Ave. The facility’s hours are Tuesday to Friday, from 10a.m. to 6p.m., and Saturday from10a.m. to 5p.m. If you’d like additional information, please call MetroCall at “311.” Or, you may visit www.LouisvilleKy.gov.
